At Cincinnati weddings, birthdays, bar and bat mitzvahs and private parties, the station is the favor table and the entertainment at once. We set it up at a Findlay Market event space, a riverfront room in Newport, a backyard in Northern Kentucky, or wherever the party is.
Guests pick a design, watch it printed, and leave wearing it. The gear travels by freight from our Fullerton shop and the crew arrives a day early, so the station is dressed and tested before the first guest walks in.
What live t-shirt printing looks like at a Cincinnati party
- Wedding favors: a monogram, the date, or a Cincinnati-themed design on tees, totes or hats, or initials stitched on the spot with live embroidery.
- Milestone birthdays: a one-night design with the guest of honor's name.
- Bar and bat mitzvahs: hoodies and caps teens will wear again, with a live hat bar on the side.
- Reunions and family parties: a shared design with each person's name added by live DTF.
Space and power for a live printing station at a Cincinnati reception
Plan on a 10×10 ft corner and two 120V/20A circuits. The old brick rooms in Over-the-Rhine and around Findlay Market are the ones to check: the outlets near the wall you'd give us are often on the same breaker as the bar coolers or the DJ, so text us a photo of the panel and we'll say if we need our own line. Memorial Hall and The Transept are lovely and tight, with load-in from the curb on Elm or Race, so we keep it to one compact station. A downtown hotel ballroom is the opposite: plenty of room, but an exclusive electrical vendor, an order deadline weeks out, and sometimes a fire marshal sign-off because a heat press counts as heat-producing gear. A backyard in Northern Kentucky, Mason or West Chester can be a long run from the house, and then we bring a generator and a tent. Each shirt takes about 2 minutes and a two-press station does 100+ an hour, which clears a 150-person reception in roughly 90 minutes. Summer weddings by the river are humid and storms roll in fast, so keep a covered spot ready. From November, most guests will pick a hoodie over a tee. If the date moves, give us two weeks' notice so the freight can move with it.
